About

Christians for Armenia is a ministry of Reformed Faith and Life. We are a non-profit Christian ministry dedicated to the spreading of the Gospel among the Armenian people.

We do this through radio broadcasting, literature publishing and distribution, teaching and diaconal works.

Our founder and broadcast minister is Rev. Aaron Kayayan, himself a native Armenian with over 50 years in the Gospel ministry.

Biography of Pastor Kayayan

The Reformed Faith and Life ministry is a labor of love for Pastor Kayayan. His parents were born and raised in Armenia; and Armenia is where most of his relatives perished during the genocide of Armenians by the Turks during and after World War I. His father, a minister, and his mother survived and fled to Greece. Aaron was born and raised in Athens, Greece. His theological training began at the Lausanne Bible Institute in Switzerland. There, he met his wife Carmen, a member of the persecuted Spanish Evangelical Church. Pastor Kayayan spent a year in the Zurich-Switzerland Theological Seminary after which he attended the Reformed seminary of Aix-en-Provence (in the South of France) from which he graduated in 1959. Pastor Kayayan entered the ministry of the Reformed Church in France and served as pastor in several areas of the country, including Vienne (southern France) and Paris. His commitment to the Reformed faith grew steadily during his early years as a pastor and he soon became a leading proponent of the Reformed Faith in France. In 1969, Pastor Kayayan began to produce the French language broadcast sponsored by the Christian Reformed Church of North America. Called Perspectives Reformees, it first aired in Quebec. Today, listeners tune in from all over the French-speaking world in Canada, Africa, and Europe. A result of this radio ministry has been the establishment of several Reformed Confessing Churches in Benin, Burundi, Ivory Coast, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire). Pastor Kayayan and his wife reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They have three children: sons Alain and Eric, and a daughter, Alix.
